What is Root Cause/ Somatic Trauma Therapy?

Root Cause Therapy is a trauma-informed process that helps you identify and release unresolved emotional wounds, subconscious beliefs, and early imprints that may be impacting your thoughts, behaviours, and physical wellbeing.
Somatic Trauma therapy is an integrative approach, using somatic (body-based) practices to help you find safety in your body, and work with the nervous system to unwind held patterns, stress, and emotional imprints.

We use a gentle meditative state to connect with your subconscious in a safe, healing way to identify and heal these deeper patterns.
We also use muscle testing to allow your body to tell us what it is ready to work on.

Combined with other somatic tools — such as breathwork, body awareness, movement, and regulation techniques , this session works with the nervous system, not against it.

It is a gentle yet powerful approach that goes deeper than talk therapy to true healing of stored stress, old patterns and trauma at the root, not just the surface.

What does it help with?

Somatic Trauma Therapy creates space to safely access, express, and integrate what the body and mind have been holding onto, without re-traumatisation. This is not traditional talk therapy. You won’t be expected to “explain” everything or go into detail about your trauma.

Instead, we work together to gently connect with your internal world, allowing your body to guide the process toward clarity, relief, and lasting change.
